Foreigner's 1978 No. 3 smash hit, "Hot Blooded," from the album "Double Vision," was typical of the FM long-play genre of the 1970s, almost dronish in its sound, is about an over-sexed man who wants to get with a young gal as he's over-heated, which explains why he's "hot-blooded" a blistering "103". The best thing about this song is the guitar riffs. Now it's up to you, can we make a secret rendezvous (but) before we do you'll have to get away from you know who" is a reference to the date's parents… Did You Know? The song was used in a few Simpson's episodes and movies, but first used in the TV series "WKRP In Cincinnati," in the season 1 episode, "A Date with Jennifer."
