"La Isla Bonita" is a song by American singer Madonna from her third studio album True Blue (1986). "La Isla Bonita" debuted at number 49 and reached a peak of number four for three consecutive weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in May 1987. The song was Madonna's second number one single on the Adult Contemporary chart, following 1986's "Live to Tell". It became the 11th consecutive top-five hit for Madonna, a feat surpassed only by the Beatles and Elvis Presley.
