Alongside his wife, Toni Tennille, Daryl Dragon achieved a lot as one-half of the pop music duo Captain and Tennille, racking up hits in the 1970s and etching a place in music history in the process.
On Wednesday, the Associated Press reported that Dragon, 76, passed away of renal failure. His former wife, Tennille (they’d divorced in 2014) was by his side, as the two are said to have “remained close” despite the dissolution of their marriage.
