In this song, the singer tries to offer encouragement to someone who sounds chronically depressed and hopeless, perhaps suicidal. People who are going through their worst times ever have been known to identify with the lyrics.

  1. On August 7th 1977, "Just Remember I Love You" by Firefall entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart at position #84; and on November 13th, 1977 it peaked at #11 {for 1 week} and spent 20 weeks on the Top 100...And on October 23rd, 1977 it reached #1 {for 2 weeks} on Billboard's Adult Contemporary Tracks chart...It was kept out of the Top 10 by Carly Simon's "Nobody Does It Better", which was at #10 during Firefall's one week at #11, but on the Adult chart it was "Just Remember I Love You" that knocked Ms. Simon out of the #1 spot.
